Find a sweet treat at the Pearl Public Library this summer! We will have a guessing jar contest each week of the Summer Reading Program beginning the week of June 7 and ending the week of July 15. You will have a total of 6 times to win a prize. Kids, teens, and adults can enter this contest. All you have to do is guess how much candy is in the jar. The closest guess wins a prize. Participants are only eligible to win one guessing jar contest. Come Make a Splash with your library this summer and register for the Summer Reading Program! The Summer Reading Program provides an incentive for children to read during the summer. Registration begins the week of May 24th. Read books for great prizes and enjoy our free programs every Thursday night at 6:00 pm (programs start June 10th and end July 15th). Celebrate National Children's Book Week!
This week (May 10-16) is National Children's Book Week. NCBW has been celebrated nationally all across the country since 1919. The purpose of this event is to celebrate children's books and the joy of reading! So, come to the library and check out your favorite children's book or find a new book that catches your eye!
